Hospitality for your body and your mind
Walea Dive & SPA Resort is located in a private area of Waleabahi Island, in the centre of the Protected Area. Small and exclusive, it’s composed only by 13 recently enlarged and renovated cottages that look out onto the sea.
The cottages, which were built using uniquely natural materials, are distributed over a more than 7 acres surface among centuries-old trees and tropical flowers. Their structure was specifically studied to harmoniously fit in the surrounding nature.
Located exactly on the equator and protected by the large Gulf of Tomini, resort benefits a 30 degrees temperature all year round, thanks to microclimate that keeps monsoons away.
Every night a dream sunset, while you can let yourself being lulled by world’s calmest sea backwash and by forest’s breath. On this island there are no streets, which means no cars, no traffic, no cellphone ringing disturbing our guests.
The limited number of scuba divers that every day has the possibility to dive in Walea and the hard work of environmental protection allow us to preserve the surrounding barrier reefs above water as well as under. Walea is the ideal destination for those who truly love sea and want to experience calmness’ beauty.

Aqua Sunset Bar: the right atmosphere at all hours
Aqua Sunset Bar was created to complete our visionary idea of Walea. A place where to appreciate the colors of sunset, where to listen to the sound of waves and count the shooting stars was, infact, still missing.Details
That’s why Aqua Sunset Bar was born, something between a bar and a lounge.
